More than 1 out of 3 college students suffer from food insecurity

Students who suffer from food insecurity are more likely to have lower grades and are more likely to withdraw from college.

Brown Foundation and The P3 Group endowed Jackson State University with $160,000.

Jackson State University received a $150,000 endowment and the Sonic Boom of the South received a $10,000 donation from the Brown foundation, which is the philanthropic arm of The P3 Group, Inc. The Group equally contributed $150,000 to Florida A&M University.

Brown Foundation Math & Reading Academy provided crucial resources to mitigate summer learning loss.

Studies show that student test scores decline during the summer. Math and Reading are the areas that experience the most significant deficits. Our summer math and reading academy goal is to eradicate summer learning loss which is more significant in underserved communities.
